First Steps Primeros Pasos has developed a strong, multicultural, early learning program designed to prepare preschool children for their academic experience in elementary school. We began our innovative programming for three to four year olds, in August of 2007 and in 2009, we relocated to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Georgetown and have expanded to include ages 2 thru 5. Our focus is on offering:

• developmentally appropriate and nurturing child care for children ages 2 thru 5.
• early education focusing on school readiness to develop a love for learning; and
• parent education to help families' understanding of child development.

First Steps Primeros Pasos is the child's start on becoming a confident, capable citizen of a global society.

First Steps Primeros Pasos envisions the day when all children have the opportunity and the support to develop into happy, healthy, confident and capable members of a diverse community. First Steps Primeros Pasos is designed to be an exemplary early care and education program meeting the developmental needs of its children by preparing them to lead happy, healthy, confident and capable lives.
